MSNBC's Martin Bashir: People Making Money Is 'Redistribution' September 21, 2012
Coming to us from the "You Can't Possibly Be Serious" News Network, aka the Media Matters For America branch of cable news, aka MSNBC: People making money is actually redistribution.
That's what troglodyte-lookalike Martin Bashir said on his MSNBC program.
Apparently he's in the running for the "I want to be the only one on MSNBC who makes Al Sharpton look intelligent" prize.
Here is exactly what he said: "Now, I'm no economist, but I've read the report from the Congressional Budget Office which says that income going to the top one percent rose 275 percent over the last 30 years while the rest of America incomes either stagnated or fell. That sounds a lot like redistribution to me, just not the kind that they like to talk about, and apparently, they don't like you to see either."
So now a growth in income is "redistribution." According to Martin Bashir, anyway.
We can't wait to see Bashir's "Capitalism Is Theft" special coming up later this Fall on MSNBC!
