Update: Dems Still Cool With Unimpeded Fetus-Killing September 4, 2012
Remember how the Dems recently criticized the Republicans because the party platform on abortion was "too extreme"?
By "too extreme", they meant that the pro-life language in the party platform did not include any exceptions (such as rape or incest) which allow for abortion.
And how did the Dems respond when they crafted their own party platform?
Oh yeah, they decided to go extreme, too. They just went extreme in the other direction.
The Dem party platform strongly supports Roe v. Wade, but then takes things a bit farther. It doesn't have any language indicating that late-term or sex-selective abortions should be prohibited.
It also says that women should have the "right" to terminate her pregnancy "regardless of ability to pay."
Thank you, Sandra Fluke!
So in Dem Fantasyland, abortions are not only unregulated, they are also free.
And their nominee for President voted to support infanticide on three occasions.
What a wonderful party.
