Totally Objective HuffPo Headline: Judge Won't Block 'Harsh' Voter ID Law August 15, 2012

We suppose that it's no surprise to anyone that The Huffington Post leans about 3 steps to the left of Alan Grayson.

But, that said, this headline still caught us off guard.

The only thing "harsh" about voter ID laws is that they require people to actually prove that they are who they claim to be when they show up to cast a ballot.

The reason for this "harsh" law is simple: To prevent Democratic vote fraud. See? We can be biased, too.

All of that aside, there is good news in Pennsylvania for those of us who believe in the integrity of our electoral process:

A Pennsylvania judge on Wednesday refused to stop a tough new voter identification law from going into effect, which Democrats say will suppress votes among President Barack Obama's supporters.

Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson said he wouldn't grant an injunction that would have halted the law requiring each voter to show a valid photo ID. Opponents are expected to file an appeal within a day or two to the state Supreme Court as the Nov. 6 presidential election looms.
