Separation Of Church And State Extremists Are Fuming About A Park That Grants Discounts To Religious Groups August 13, 2012
Our friends at the Freedom From Religion Foundation are threatening to use some of their money (marked with "In God We Trust" in cash) to file a lawsuit against a park that offers discounts to religious organizations.
Because that's way more important than using the organization's time and money to actually help people hurting in this Obama-stricken economy.
The Willow Springs Water Park in Little Rock, Arkansas has committed the felony of granting discounts to religious organizations. That is, until the FFRF complained. Then the discounts were stopped.
But that's not good enough for the FFRF. The separation of church and state extremists are concerned that Willow Springs will reinstate the discount next season.
To that end, a threatening letter promoting FFRF's intolerance has been sent to Willow Springs.
We don't know whether or not Willow Springs can afford to fight FFRF in litigation, but we hope so. We'd hate to see this kind of precedent being set for other businesses both in Arkansas, and nationwide.
