New MoveOn Ad Portrays Romney As A Pickpocket August 10, 2012

At least this is a step up from murder.

MoveOn.org, the group that was founded to combat Bill Clinton's well-deserved impeachment, decided a long time ago not to move on after that episode and has since engaged in left-wing activism.

This is the organization that is responsible for the "General Betray Us" ad. So they have a history of buffoonery.

But the buffoonery didn't stop with running the ad. The organization scrubbed the ad from their web site when Obama tapped "General Betray Us" (aka General David Petraeus) to report for duty in Afghanistan.

Anyway, the latest ad by MoveOn depicts Romney as a pickpocket. And by that we mean, it actually portrays him trying to pick people's pockets.

The sad truth about all of these latest attacks on Governor Romney is that they appear to be working. The negative campaigning seems to have lowered Mitt Romney's favorability ratings. And, even worse, he's being defined by his opponents. That's unfortunate with less than 90 days before the election.

We hope that Romney has some surprises ready after the convention.
