Quinnipiac: Obama Lost A Lot Of Ground In VA July 19, 2012
In March, a Quinnipiac poll showed President Obama leading Mitt Romney by 8 points in Virginia (50-42).
But in a Quinnipiac poll released yesterday, Mitt Romney is now even with the President in Virginia (44-44).
Voters in Virginia also say that Romney would do a better job on the economy (47-44).
50% of Virginia voters say that the President does not deserver a second term.
More good news: Republican George Allen leads Tim Kaine 46-44 in the Senate race.
This poll questioned registered, as opposed to likely voters. This means that things are probably looking better for Republicans than what is reported here.
