Apparently they find toasters and bread machines more valuable to their future than donating the monetary equivalent to Hopenchange v2.0.

You may remember the stupid idea that the Obama campaign proposed about a month ago: In lieu of wedding gifts, the Obama re-election desperation squad suggested that blushing brides request donations to the President's failing re-election bid.

And it's not working out too well.

Relatively few people are linking to the proposal in social media, and it hasn't received the buzz that it should have. Except for the fact that conservatives are laughing about it on right-wing blogs.

And we couldn't be happier.
