Dem Senator Jim Webb A 'No' On Obama's Tax Scheme July 13, 2012

Another rat abandons the sinking ship.

Democratic Senator Jim Webb says he's opposed to Obama's ridiculous plan to extend some tax rates for just one year.

It's important to note that Jim Webb is a retiring Democrat. He's not even up for re-election.

But even he has enough sense to criticize what is probably the most absurd fiscal proposal in the history of the Presidency.

He is joined by Joe Liberman, the Democrat-turned-Independent, who is also retiring.

That's two "no" votes from Senators who aren't even running for re-election.

Just wait until Sen. Claire McCaskill, et. al. chime in.

And considering the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has already filibustered Obama's tax scheme, it looks like Obama is, once again, going to face stiff opposition from his own party.

As usual, we wish him all the worst of luck.
