We're not convinced that it's a good idea for anyone associated with President Obama, who has presided over an absolutely lousy economy, to be yapping about "the national interest," but he can try.

For some reason, though, the President's attorney doesn't have a problem that Media Matters, which has a clear political slant, is a tax-exempt organization.

Maybe that's because Media Matters is doing everything it can to get President Obama re-elected.
