It looks like West Virginia Democrats find President Obama to be such an albatross around their collective necks that they'll separate themselves from him by not even attending the national convention later this year.

That's about 15 megatons of suckage for President Obama's re-election chances.

The three prominent West Virginia Dems who aren't going are Sen. Joe Manchin, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, and Rep. Nick Rahall.

By the way, doesn't "Earl Ray Tomblin" just sound like the name of somebody from West Virginia?

Or a country music star.

Bottom line: Obama is so radioactive that even prominent members of his own party don't want to be within miles of him.

And that's just awesome.
