Noted Democratic Campaign Strategist David Gregory Tells Obama How To Win The Election June 15, 2012
With all of Obama's shifting campaign strategies failing, it's good that he has a friend who can tell him how to win re-election.
Even if that friend happens to work for NBC News.
To that end, David Gregory appeared on this morning's Today show and decided to lend a helping hand to Obama's faltering campaign.
"What the President's got to do is say, 'Hey, don't forget about George W. Bush. Things got really really bad under him'," said Mr. Gregory, who apparently moonlights as a consultant for the DNC.
Matt Lauer followed up this brilliant advice for Team Obama by asking a question that nobody should ask: Is that strategy going to work three and a half years after Bush has been out of office?
In response to this, Mr. Gregory offers this priceless advice: "It's not about blaming the previous President. It's that the hill was so high to climb."
That's a great point. The fact that Obama campaigned in 2008 as someone who could fix the economy is something that we should all generously ignore.
We'd like to know how much the DNC is paying him for this counsel. It's definitely worth every penny.
Feel free to watch Mr. Gregory's great campaign advice below.
