It seems that Obama's Campaign strategery #4,572 was revealed at a fundraiser in Baltimore yesterday. It's going to be: "4 years is simply not enough time to clean up the mess left behind by that America-hater George W. Bush."

It should go over about as well as that "war on women" thing.

And when it doesn't work, he can always go back to attacking Bain Capital.

In addition to the the aforementioned "I'm desperate - please re-elect me" campaign pitch, Obama also had this to say at that fundraiser: "The last thing we want to do is return to the very policies that got us into this mess."

We're still waiting for the lamestream media to call him out on that, since Obama renewed the Bush tax cuts. You know, the same tax cuts which are the cornerstone of the Bush economic policy. The same tax cuts which Obama now claims "got us into this mess."

He renewed the tax cuts for two years, and then he blamed them for getting "us into this mess."

If those tax cuts create a mess, then why did he renew them?

Maybe the media can follow Jay Carney's advice and "do it's job" and report about that inconsistency.

But we won't hold our breath.
