Seriously: How many times have you watched a news report about a missing child, and inevitably the anchor says that the child "was last seen with a registered sex offender"?

We've seen too many of those reports. And by "registered sex offender", the anchor means that the dude perved with a child at some point in history.

To which we ask: Why is he still alive?
