Howard Kurtz: Journalists Knew That Obama's Gaffe Wasn't A Gaffe June 11, 2012
|
Let's be clear: Journalists knew what Obama meant when he said that "the private sector is doing fine."
That's according to Howard Kurtz.
You see, it's just those dummies on Twitter, who took the statement at face value, that didn't understand the true meaning of what President Obama was trying to say.
And those rabid Tweeters forced all those totally objective journalists who definitely, totally don't adore Obama to cover the statement as a gaffe.
That's what really happened.
And it's a good thing that Howard Kurtz is around to tell us that, otherwise we would never know.
"There isn't a journalist in the country who doesn't know what Obama meant" by that very obvious non-gaffe. Thus spake Howard Kurtz.
