Democrats Must Think That Small Businesses Have A Lot Of Extra Cash Lying Around June 7, 2012
|
Congressional Democrats, in their never-ending quest to convince the rest of Western Civilization that they know nothing about business, finance, and the economy, have decided to propose an increase in the minmum wage.
To $10 per hour.
What they don't explain, of course, is exactly where small business owners are going to come up with that extra cash in this Obama-crippled economy.
But hey, it sounds good. Who can be opposed to a minimum wage increase?
Answer: The people (i.e., business owners) who have to actually come up with that money to pay their employees.
We think that minimum wage legislation should fall under that "no unfunded mandates" umbrella.
That is, if Congress doesn't pay for it, then they can't force others to do it.
That would stop this nonsense immediately.
