Harry 'Can't Pass A Budget' Reid Wants The Government To Dictate Wages June 5, 2012
|
In spite of overwhelming evidence that it's an abysmal failure, Democrats are still running with that "war on women" thing.
And not at all caring about the fact the they pay their female staffers less than their male staffers, Senate Dems have introduced the "Paycheck Fairness Act", meant to ensure equal pay among men and women.
Hey, why pass a budget when you strangle businesses with pointless regulation?
And now Senate Disaster Leader Harry Reid wants Romney to sign on to his lame attempt at pandering to female voters.
It won't work. Romney opposes the legislation, but he supports equal pay for women.
Unlike Harry Reid, Romney doesn't believe that capitalism itself has declared war on women.
The stat is that women earn 77 cents for every dollar that men earn.
But you know what they say about statistics and lies.
What is the underlying reason for that discrepancy? Is it because women enter the workforce later? Is it still a cultural issue because there are so many stay-at-home moms? Is it because they leave the workforce for a while to start a family, and as a result they miss years of salary increases?
The answers to those questions don't matter to Democrats. They're hellbent on believing that the only solution to problems that may not even exist is additional government regulation.
And then they're surprised when voters see right through their gamesmanship.
