And that seems to be the case in Wisconsin.

This morning the Morning Joe gang hosted Politico's Mike Allen to talk about Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin recall.

And Mike Allen predicted that Scott Walker would "win big".

Remember, Mike Allen works for Politico, so this is a statement against self-interest.

Mike Allen went on to say that the union goons (our words, not his — remember he works for Politico) have made Scott Walker into a hero by pushing for this recall.

And then he said that all the money raised by the recall evangelists was "money poured down the drain".

We couldn't be happier.

Quoting Mike Allen again: "The effect of this is to make Wisconsin look better for Mitt Romney."

Yes. Someone who works for Politico actually said that.

And then somehow Joe Scarborough worked a Godfather reference into the discussion while ripping Wisconsin Dems for their foolish recall effort.
