He is Pastor Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, North Carolina.

And he's awesome.

But he's also not unusual.

Quick newsflash for liberals: This kind of preaching goes on quite frequently in fundamental Baptist churches.

It goes on in quite a few not-so-fundamental Baptist churches, also.

And it goes in quite a few not-so-Baptist churches.

You get the idea.

But here's what Pastor Worley said: "I figured a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers. Build a great, big, large fence — 150 or 100 mile long — put all the lesbians in there... Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can't get out... And you know what, in a few years, they'll die."

Well, you can't argue with his logic, anyway. Gays can't reproduce.

But there is a downside to following his advice: We'd lose a lot of great interior designers.

Worley also gets right on abortion: "I'm not going to vote for a baby killer and a homosexual lover."

We're certain his church is going to be targeted by the gay rights mafia in upcoming weeks. He'll almost certainly be compared to the Phelps cabal.

But he's just preaching the Bible as he reads it. For that he is to be commended.
