We're not used to seeing such overt anti-semitism, whether coming from Iran's military chief or the Iranian dictator himself, brushed off so lightly.

And we have to wonder how much more anti-Zionist dialog, including direct threats of mass violence, we have to hear before the international community takes more direct and serious action.

We're not holding our breath. Middle/Far East wars have become politically unpopular since that bust on Weapons of Mass Destruction after the Iraq war.

And even support for Afghanistan is losing steam.

But the one thing we learn from history is that we fail to learn from history. This kind of Jew-hating and threats of destruction against the Jewish people is exactly what preceded the Nazi menace. It would be a shame to disregard it out of hand.

It looks like the Jew-haters which make up the Iranian government expect Western people to do exactly that.

Unfortunately, it looks like they're right.
