CNN Asks David Axelrod A Question, Therefore 'Media Matters' Complains May 20, 2012
|
It follows just as "I think, therefore I am" by Descartes.
CNN asks Obama campaign advisor David Axelrod a question, so Media Matters for America complains.
Here's the headline at the Media Matters web site: "The Most Trusted Name In News" Pushes Right-Wing "Class Warfare" Narrative, Suggests Biden Speech Was An "Attack On The Rich"
The folks over there took a few moments away from their obsession with Fox to hit CNN.
What really happened: CNN aired that clip of Biden yelling about Republicans attacking Dems as people promoting class envy, and then Candy Crowley asked the following question: "Do you understand why some people listen to that, and then believe that the Obama campaign is engaged in class warfare?"
That question, somehow, "pushes a right-wing" narrative.
But you have to understand: To Media Matters, any question that does not go something like "Why do you think Obama is the greatest President in the history of the Republic?" pushes a "right-wing" narrative.
Between fewer "uh"s than usual, David Axelrod managed to answer Candy's question without attacking CNN or Candy Crowley.
Well, he tried to answer, but that's a subject for another article.
And for those of you who don't know it, Media Matters is an organization formed on the laughable premise that there are too many conservative voices in the media.
And they cite "examples" like this one.
And now you know why so few people take them seriously.
