Definition Of Insanity Alert: Obama Still Trying That 'War On Women' Thing May 18, 2012
It's been said that insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Obama never learned that.
Or he's insane.
Anyway, his campaign has put out an ad attacking Mitt Romney for waging a war on women.
In other words, he's repeating a tactic that hasn't worked.
The ad features the talking head of Cecile Richards, Director of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
She kind of looks like Glenn Close with a crew cut, or a rich villainess in a James Bond movie.
She starts off in the ad by saying that it's important that women pay attention in this election because the results will not only impact their lives, but the lives of their children.
The ones they haven't aborted, anyway.
Then she lies: "The fact that we're having a fight in this country about whether women should have access to birth control is extraordinary."
So Obama not only lies about Republicans declaring war on women, now he lies about Republicans declaring war on birth control.
There is no war on birth control.
The issue is, and has always been, whether or not the government should force insurance companies to provide birth control.
Which is also a non-issue since birth control is available for $9 at Wal-Mart.
Then again, liberals hate Wal-Mart, so maybe they don't know that because they don't shop there.
Ms. Richards goes on to claim that Planned Parenthood has worked with Obama to make sure that all women have access to birth control with no expensive copay or deductible.
See above.
Then there's the icing on the cake: Ms. Richards claims that Romney wants "take women back to the 1950s".
Yeah. Before millions of unborn children were destroyed.
