Tennessee Voter ID Law Is Specifically Designed As An Attack On Old Women May 18, 2012
Not really. But that's what President Obama wants you to believe.
In a new, 4-minute long video, the Obama campaign rails against voter ID laws with anecdotal evidence in the form of one Dorothy Cooper.
Dorothy Cooper is a 96-year-old resident of Tennessee. She is now quite irritated that needs an ID to vote.
You see, she doesn't have an ID.
Nowhere in the video does anyone ask this woman: "How would you feel if someone else used your name and address to vote?" Someone could theoretically do that without an ID.
We're anxious to see a video produced by the Obama campaign that features a 96-year-old woman complaining because she can't board a plane or enter a federal building without an ID.
But we're not holding our breath.
Also: We attempted to reach out to all those dead people who vote in Chicago elections. But they were not available for comment.
Finally: We note that when it comes to issues like abortion and voter ID laws, Democrats are at a point in political history where they find themselves repeatedly arguing against common sense.
And the sad truth is that millions of people vote for them anyway.
