Quick Update: Feminists Still Despise Children May 18, 2012

A headline only a feminist could write: "What to Expect When You're Expecting: Financial Ruin, Basically"

That's an awesome way to look at motherhood, isn't it?

And did you catch how she crafted a headline based on that movie that's coming out this weekend? Cool, huh?

The opening line of that article is another masterpiece: "In today's case for Just Giving Us the Damn Birth Control: new babies are more costly than you might have dreamed..."

And there we have it. Feminists view children just like CIA agents view informants: As assets.

Actually, no. It's worse than that.

They view them as liabilities.

Financial liabilities.

And this is why feminism never gains popular traction. Most women view motherhood as a blessing, financial costs be damned.

But repeatedly we see feminists view motherhood, and by extension children, with total disdain.

We see it in the Jezebel article referenced above.

We see it in the feminist march for abortion rights.

We see it in their radical attempts to fight against laws that protect unborn children.

In short: Feminists might be taken seriously if they didn't despise children so much.
