Has-Been Politician Rips Pelosi For Willingness To Consider Entitlement Cuts May 2, 2012

Somebody might need to tell Russ Feingold that he lost.

He's crowing about Nancy Pelosi's "disturbing potential willingess" to cut entitlement spending.

Somebody needs to tell Russ Feingold that Nancy Pelosi would rather swallow a live rattlesnake head first than cut entitlements.

And he's a former Senator from Wisconsin.

Somebody needs to tell Russ Feingold that the current governor of Wisconsin is cutting spending in that state and he's ahead by 1 in polls going into that leftist-inspired recall. Not a sign of strong support, but hardly unpopular, either.

And somebody needs to tell Russ Feingold that he lost his Senate seat. Nancy Pelosi leads the Dems in the House. We're not sure she even cares what he thinks.

Also, somebody needs to tell Russ Feingold that the nation is $16 trillion in debt, and entitlements are a significant reason why that is the case.

Finally, somebody needs to tell Russ Feingold that if he doesn't like the idea of cutting entitlements to fix the nation's debt, then he needs to come up with a practical solution himself.

We aren't holding our breath.
