Oh, About All That Fundraising Money: Scott Walker Has It [Language] April 30, 2012

You'll have to excuse our crudeness, here.

But Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker just raised a shit-ton of money.

$13 million to be almost exact.

Oh, and he raised it in 3 months.

This money isn't for Walker's re-election. It's to fight off that ridiculous recall which he has been forced to endure thanks to his efforts to fight union goons in his state.

And we're surprised that the editors over at The Huffington Post were willing to share with the world at large that Walker had raised so much money in such a short time. That's just too much bad news for people who hate the free market (i.e., the majority of Huffington Post readers).

Oh, yeah. Those free market haters also aren't real big fans of people/corporations freely contributing to political campaigns, either. So this is insult after injury.

And it gets better. Much better.

Almost 77% of the those contributions to the Walker campaign totaled $50 or less.

Grassroots-alicious!

There are two Democrats, embattled in a primary, running for Walker's office (assuming that the recall is successful). Combined, they have raised less than $2 million during the same period.

While Walker, by himself, raised $13 million.

And so in response to all of this we offer one simple message of encouragement to Governor Walker: It's going to be a great 8 years.
