Awesome: Planned Parenthood Had To Cut Lobbying Spending By 88% April 30, 2012

And the good guys win again.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its unaborted cousin Planned Parenthood Action Fund spent a scant $99,000 in lobbying during the first quarter of 2012.

During the fourth quarter of last year, Planned Parenthood spent $839,000. So the drop is nothing short of staggering. Kind of like John Edwards' approval rating.

And what was the cause for the reduction in lobbying? It looks like that decision by the Susan G. Komen Foundation to cut off funding to Planned Parenthood had a lot to do with it.

Although Planned Parenthood refuses to comment on the matter. Hmmm... we have to wonder if they're hiding something.

So, even though the Komen Foundation later reversed course, it looks like the damage was done.

Damage to the corrupt cause of Planned Parenthood, anyway. But Planned Parenthood is like the Democratic Party: what's bad for them is good for the country.

So we think we owe the Susan G. Komen Foundation a belated thank you, even though they wimped out later on.

Thanks, Komen, for stopping Planned Parenthood from lobbying wayward legislators who don't respect the sanctity of human life.

You did the country a great service.
