You Will Be Concerned When You Learn That Keith Olbermann Was Not Amused By Jimmy Kimmel's Jokes Last Night April 29, 2012

Keith Olbermann loves a good joke!

As long as it's not directed at him.

In case you haven't heard yet, Jimmy Kimmel was the comedian at the White House Correspondents Dinner last night.

And he covered up for the sin he committed when he said that it is hard to make fun of Obama because he is so cool. Kimmel's jokes were bipartisan, which really is cool.

And he also joked about that liberal icon with ever-dwindling influence, one Keith Olbermann. Here's the comedic segment that conservatives will love to love:

"I'd like everyone to look under your seats. Under each one you will find a copy of Keith Olbermann's resume. Is Keith here tonight? Limo wouldn't pick him up? The thing about Keith Olbermann. He is so likable. Al Gore launched Current TV in 2005 and it took off like a North Korean rocket. But to be honest, I didn't even know Current TV was still on the air, but then I don't get 'Channel a Million.' Keith Olbermann burned more bridges than the arsonist of Madison County. He has more pink slips than Marcus Bachmann. Too soon?"

We especially appreciate the digs at Current TV as well. But, seriously, could Kimmel not come up with any comedic material directed towards Cenk Uygur?

But Keith Olbermann didn't appreciate those jokes at his expense. He tweeted: "Funny that Jimmy Kimmel ripped me after his people desperately wanted me to fly to LA to be on his show this past Wednesday #nerdprom".

We seriously doubt that Jimmy Kimmel's "people", or anyone else for that matter, ever desperately wants Keith Olbermann in their presence.

But we're happy to learn that, after all of his recent failures, Mr. Olbermann still has his ego.

Olbermann later clarified his outrage: "I'm not complaining about the Kimmel jokes - I'm fair game. I'm complaining about the revenge element. It reminds me of O'Reilly #nerdprom".

So Olbermann thinks that Kimmel cracked those jokes because Olbermann refused to appear on his show. Because the only people that Jimmy Kimmel pokes fun at are people who refuse to appear on his show.

And we're not sure at all how Olbermann ties Bill O'Reilly to anything resembling a "revenge element".

But we're happy to learn that, after all of his recent failures, Keith Olbermann is still obsessed with Bill O'Reilly.
