But he did stop short of saying that he'll leave the country.

Adam Levine, the frontman for Maroon 5, tweeted the following: "Dear America, if you don't re-elect @BarackObama, I'm gonna lose my shit."

And that's important because most independent voters, when polled, want to know exactly what Adam Levine is "gonna" do if Obama doesn't get at least 270 electoral votes this November. They might not understand the vernacular, though.

And this is not the first time that Levine has brought his politics to Twitter. Last October, presumably after Fox News Channel played a Maroon 5 song on air, Levine issued the following tweet: "Dear Fox News, don't play our music on your evil fucking channel ever again. Thank you."

It's hard to believe that somebody who hates Fox News Channel that much is also a voting Democrat, but we learn something new every day.

Fox News Channel's own Andy Levy played defense for his employer, tweeting back: "Dear @AdamLevine, don't make crappy fucking music ever again. Thank you."

While we're certain that crappy music maker, possible shit-loser Adam Levine knows exactly what it takes to fix our nation's problems, we're not certain that most voters will be swayed by his endorsement.

In fact, just the other day we were watching a discussion between John Bolton and James Baker about the proper response to Iran's potential acquisition of a nuclear weapon. And, what do you know, John turned to James and said, "As with so many other international crises, the best option is to follow the advice of the lead singer of Maroon 5."

We also hear, but have not confirmed, that Adam Levine has proposed a means of ensuring that Social Security is solvent out to 2159. We're anxious to see the details.

It's really too bad that more people don't take him seriously.
