The lady doth protest too much?

But the "let taxpayers pay for my birth control" activist is outrageously outraged over a tweet from Monica Crowley yesterday. Upon learning that Sandra Fluke was engaged, Crowley asked: "To a man?"

Memo to libs: This is humor. Quick reminder: "Humor" is that thing that makes you laugh when Jon Stewart makes fun of Republicans.

Now, this might come as a shock to Mizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Fluke, but it's not terribly unusual for self-described feminists and so-called "reproductive rights activists" to identify themselves as lesbians.

So Monica Crowley's tweet was a little joke with that backstory in mind.

But Sandra Fluke was not amused. Appearing on MSNBC's The Ed Show, Fluke said "I'm not going to let this kind of thing get to me personally... What really bothers me about it [is] the blatant homophobia in the comment, and the idea that that is an acceptable thing to say publicly." All 73 viewers nodded in agreement.

But stop the train. Where is there any "homophobia" in suggesting that Fluke is marrying another woman? Crowley was just asking a question, in a joking fashion, based on certain undeniable truths.

Fluke continues: "I am not offended to be asked whether or not I'm with a woman." Which is a really interesting thing to say, because it sure seems like she is offended by that. And she sure is going out of her way to make it very clear that she is totally, definitely not offended by that.

On a positive note, she wouldn't need to worry about birth control if she was a lesbian.
