However, what Mississippi governor Phil Bryant did tell conservative talk radio host Tony Perkins was: "Even if you believe in abortion, the hypocrisy of the left that now tried to kill this bill, that says that I should have never signed it, the true hypocrisy is that their one mission in life is to abort children, is to kill children in the womb."

And there we have it. The Democratic Party platform in one sentence: Kill unborn children.

In case you're wondering, we're pro-life over here. And we applaud the good governor for signing that bill that could shut down Mississippi's only abortion provider.

But maybe, just maybe, this statement could have been worded a little better.

And hopefully, he'll issue a correction.

What never seems to get corrected, however, is the Democratic party's extreme position on this issue.

Take, for example, what's going on in California right now. Over there, state lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow non-doctors to perform abortions.

How many Democrats do you think will have a problem with that? Not many, if any.

And remember: These are California Democrats, a particularly loathsome breed of leftist hacks.

Democrats, if they had their way, would ensure that teenage girls would be able to get an abortion on-demand, without their parents' permission, during any trimester from people who aren't even certified physicians.

And they call us extreme?

We'll support the governor of Mississippi over that garbage any day.
