Spirit Airlines Tries To Cash In On Secret Service Scandal April 20, 2012

Here's one for the weekend.

It seems as though some creative ad person(ette?) at Spirit Airlines decided that the recent Secret Service scandal would make great material for a promotion.

The picture you see here is the actual ad. The similarities between the leading figure and the stereotypical Secret Service agent can not be missed.

And don't miss the copy headline: "More Bang For Your Buck". Ha! What a Freudian double-entendre-laced kneeslapper!

Feminists will undoubtedly cry foul over this. Over at Slate, they already have.

The good news from all of this: There really is a discount to Cartagena. So if you... ah... need some entertainment... oh, never mind.

Hopefully, future clients of Colombian prostitutes can afford their full rate with the money that they save by using Spirit Airlines.

Although we wouldn't be surprised to learn that their rates had recently gone up. Supply and demand, you know.
